趙英強的妻子美玉和妹妹英娥在家中一邊陪伴抱恙的趙父，一邊等候英強從外地返家團聚和為父賀壽。國鼠爺郭崇宗為趙父學生，藉故來找老師，
實際上垂涎娥美色，欲強搶她為妾。趙父怒斥崇宗，被他踢死。英強返家，驚痛莫名，赴知縣府求助，知縣答應為他伸張正義，卻被崇安瓜牙暗殺
，英娥終被搶走。英強夫婦找候爺，候爺在與崇安對質時又被崇安率眾打
死，混亂中英強逃脫‥‥
