大卡片的好处：大卡片可以让老师在课堂上也能使用。很多人认为自学时小卡片带起来更方便，但是调查后发现，大卡片更受使用者——无论是孩子还是大人的重视，效果更好。这套卡片大小和成年男人的手掌差不多大（142*106mm），很合用。

These colorful bilingual flash cards are an excellent way to teach your child Chinese!  A total of 100 cards in the box.

Side one of each flash card features a color picture, its English vocabulary word, its Chinese character plus the Pinyin translation.

The other side of the card features the same Chinese character and its writing stroke sequence.

 Step-by-step stroke order instructions show kids how to write characters for themselves. On side two, the featured vocabulary word is used in a sample sentence to demonstrate how the word would be used in context.
 

基础系列（Basic Series）中是一些常用的字，而且是按实物分组的，比如数字、时间、日常用品、表情、动物等，这样有助于联想，提高学习者的注意力程度和兴趣。基础系列中名词居多，基本上配有彩色图片。每套一百张卡片：正面是中文字、拼音、图解和英文释义，背面是字的笔顺写法，可以让孩子一个字一个字地填,就象描红模字一样。这是特意那样做的，因为认汉字，写是很重要的手段，同时也是目的。
